Lois and Clark or Superman Status

How long have you been watching L&C?
Since Nov. 2000

How long have you been a fan of Superman?
Same

How long have you been writing?
Off and on my whole life, but mostly since I found fanfic.

How long have you been writing L&C fanfic?
Since Jan. 2001

What types of Fanfic have you written?
L&C

Most recent story posted? Where?
I think it was "Lois' Story" on the L&C archive (as of this writing it's The Case of the Disappearing Clark on both Zoom's Boards and the Fanfic Mailing List - Anne)

Favorite story you have written? Why?
Oh, my! I think it is going to be the sequel to "First Night" that I am working on now, but currently - "Superman's Shower", "Wet, White Shirt", or "Lois and Clark and the IRS". I think the new one will be my favorite because it is going to be difficult to write and quite the accomplishment if I ever get it done. The other three were just too much fun to write and then mess with people's heads some as I posted them!

Current project/projects?
I am almost done with "Case of the Disappearing Clark" and have a good start on a sequel to "First Night" that I haven't titled yet.

Personal picks of other Fanfics you have read?
Missy's "Strangers", Jenni's "Universal Union" series

General Interview Questions

What attracted you to writing Fanfic and what about it do you enjoy?
I enjoy writing anyway (my hubby is encouraging me to write a book) and then I read Chris H.'s "Baby, I Hardly Knew You" and really wanted to write a sequel. I enjoy taking the characters and putting them into situations of my own creation.

What about the L&C and the characters do you like the most?
Besides the Superman part? They are already created, for one thing, but it is a timeless love story and I am a hopeless romantic!

How do you interpret them in your work?
I try to be true to the characters, but especially in stories that are sort of inbetweenies or ones that take off from the series rather than a complete tangent that changes everything completely from the series.

How did you begin writing in general?
I wrote some in high school and took a creative writing course in high school.

How do you feel about being nominated for a Kerth Award?
That would be the ultimate!

What are you working on now and where do you see it going?
I am working on finishing "Disappearing Clark" and of course they'll get together before it's over! I am also working on the sequel to "First Night". It deals with a Lois and Clark who got married after meeting in DC as teens and then unintentionally got married the day after CK showed up in Metropolis in episode 1. They are now dealing with all of those issues as well as few kinks - big kinks - that are not being disclosed just yet!

What is your opinion about the following types of L&C fanfic's?
Action?
Not bad, if it's well done

Drama?
Probably my favorite - especially if it involves Lois and Clark getting together!

Humor?
Again - if it's done right and not distasteful or offensive humor

Round Robin?
Haven't read any, honestly

Nfic?
Don't care for this either, just a personal preference thing

Has *everything* been done in your opinion, and if not, what is left?
No. There is always something floating around in someone's head somewhere. If I knew what was left, I'd write it myself!

What do you think makes the best story?
Maybe a good A plot, but a great B plot is more important to me (that hopeless romantic thing). Usually one that ends up with Lois and Clark together!

Would you like to add a link or URL to your favorite fanfic for the readers to sample your writing?
All of them can be found at www.lcfanfic.com under M for Moncado - sorry, don't know the exact URLs.

Where is the best place for a reader to locate your work?
L&C fanfic archive
